PRODUCTION & RETURNS

Each order is captured and processed in detail before it is manufactured. Dovetail Studio takes note of each item ordered, the colours requested and the alterations to size that are at times requested. Each product is produced specifically for each order – we do not keep stock on hand and we do mass produce. Each item is hand made by a member of the carpentry team. Once the item is complete it goes through a round of quality checks to ensure it is stable, robust and even. The product is then carefully prepared to be painted and finished. Once this process is complete the product then goes through another round of quality checks to ensure that the product is perfect and without visible blemishes.

Each product is individually wrapped and packaged according to its size and shape. Care is taken to ensure that the item will be safe in transit.

For this reason we cannot be responsible for damaged goods. Customers choose the option to have their order couriered to them at their own risk. Should the product be broken in transit Dovetail Studio will help the customer with an insurance claim and ensure the product is replaced.

We know how much fun children have climbing and adventuring up, over, under and between our products. Please make sure your children are supervised at all times when using your Dovetail purchase as Dovetail cannot be held responsible for any damages to your loved ones. Dovetail cannot be held liable for any wear and tear on products purchased from us as we cannot control how our products are used once purchased.

We use lead free paint on our furniture items to keep children safe. All items are hand painted and some variations in colour may occur. Our items are designed for indoor use only and Dovetail cannot be held liable for any wear and tear or damage caused by rain or prolonged exposure to water. Our products are for indoor use only unless otherwise stated.
